In the last century, and especially more recently in context of the global health crisis, healthcare and pharma have saved countless lives. Yet despite its purpose having a social core, the sector still struggles with employer (healthcare) and reputational (pharma) issues.
The COVID-19 crisis has urged the sector to make healthcare and treatment accessible and affordable for all. So even if the Sustainable Development Goals, which primarily have a human rights agenda, appeal to all sectors, they are particularly relevant to healthcare and pharma.
